S&P raises Kiev ratings following cancellation of restructuring

MOSCOW/KIEV, Nov. 25 - S&P Global Ratings raised its long-term issuer credit rating on the Ukrainian capital City of Kiev to 'B-' from 'CC.' The outlook is stable.


Oschadbank and EBRD sign MoU on reform, €50 million guarantees

KIEV , Nov. 25 – Savings Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support reforms at the bank and an agreement providing guarantees of up to EUR 50 million to the bank under the Trade Facilitation Programme.

Transneft to appeal decision granting Ukraine pipeline ownership

MOSCOW, Nov. 27 - Transneft plans to file an appeal with the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine against a ruling by the Rivne appellate economic court that recognized Ukraine's ownership rights to sections of the Samara-West and Grozny-Armavir-Trudovaya oil product pipelines that run through its territory, totaling 1,433 km, the adviser to the Russian oil pipeline monopoly's president, Igor Demin told Interfax.


EU expects stable winter natgas supplies following Russia-Ukraine deal

ASTANA, Nov. 27 - The European Union expects stable gas supplies this winter under a deal by Russia and Ukraine, a senior EU energy official said, even while Moscow has yet to resume shipments and Kiev has yet to pay in advance as agreed, Reuters reported.


IFC to issue $100 million loan to Lviv's Galnaftogaz concern

KIEV, Nov. 26 - The International Finance Corporation has decided to issue a loan of $100 million to Galnaftogaz concern (Lviv).

According to the Web site of the financial institution, a corresponding agreement with Galnaftogaz was signed on November 15.
