Ukraine consumer prices down 0.5% in July
KIEV, Aug. 6 – Ukraine’s consumer prices dropped 0.5% on the month in July, reacting to a bumper grain harvest this season as cash-strapped farmers had rushed to sell the commodity, depressing the prices.

EBRD pledges $507m for Chernobyl shelter

Naftogaz may create subsidiary for filling station development
KIEV, Aug. 3 – The national Naftogaz Ukrayiny may create a new daughter company to service and develop its own chain of filling stations, which would sell fuel and compressed gas, Andriy Pliatsko, director of Ukravtogaz, which exploits the NGV-re-fuelling compressor stations of Ukrtransgaz – the daughter company of Naftogaz Ukrayiny. |
