KIEV, Aug. 5 – The National Bank of Ukraine's gross international reserves in July expanded by 6.98%, or by $2.475 billion, to $37.914 billion, whereas in June they grew by 3%, or $1.026 billion, the central bank reported on its official Web site.
Since the start of the year, the NBU's international reserves have expanded by 16.8%, or $5.452 billion, from $32.462 billion.
As was reported, in 2007, the NBU boosted its forex reserves by 45.9%, or by $10.21 billion.
