Interest rate on currency-pegged T-bills could hit 10%, says official

KIEV, Aug. 3 – The interest rate on certificated two-year foreign currency-pegged treasury bills (T-bills) payable to bearer, which will be issued in late September or early October, could reach 8-10%, said Oleksiy Tkachenko, the director of the general department of banking supervision at the National Bank of Ukraine.
