KIEV, Aug. 6 - Consumer prices in Ukraine fell by 0.1% in July after holding steady in June, and since early 2013 have grown by 0.1%, the State Statistics Service reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, in annual terms prices remained stable, while in June deflation of 0.1% was registered.
Industrial producer prices dropped by 2.9% in July, although since early 2013 they have grown by 0.7%.
The service said that prices of foodstuff and soft drinks fell by 0.3%. The largest fall of 6.9-2.2% was registered for the prices of vegetables and fruits. The price of salo (pork fat), grain products, milk, macaroni, sunflower oil, beef, fish and fish products, margarine were down by 1.2-0.1%.
