Manufacturers and exporters line up to oppose 25% rail tariff hike

KIEV, Feb. 7 – Ukrainian manufacturers and exporters oppose the increase of tariffs for cargo transportation by rail by 25% announced by the Infrastructure Ministry.

KIEV, Feb. 6 - Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny produced over 125,000 barrels of crude oil in Egypt in October-December 2011 and 685,000 barrels since the beginning of last year, the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry said in a report on the company's plan fulfillment for 2011.

Amid cold spell, natural gas shipments to Europe decrease sharply

KIEV, Feb. 7 - Ukrainian-made cheese will have good prospects on the European Union's market after a free-trade zone agreement is signed, Valeriy Piatnytsky, the Ukrainian government's envoy for European integration said in televised remarks on Monday evening.
