Cadogan and Nadra Ukrayiny to sell control of Westgasinvest JV

KIEV, Oct. 4 - Britain's Cadogan Petroleum Plc and Ukraine's Nadra Ukrayiny have completed an agreement to sell 50.01% of the joint venture LLC Westgasinvest, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, to Italy's Eni S.p.A.

Moody’s lowers ratings boom on Naftogaz following loan default

KIEV, Oct. 6 -- Moody's Investors Service has changed the probability of default rating (PDR) of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine to Ca/LD from Ca.

As Moody's said in a statement, the rating action reflects the actual default by Naftogaz on repayment of its $500 million Loan Participation Notes due Sept. 30 2009.
