KIEV, Oct. 4 – Ukraine’s biggest power and coal mining company DTEK launched in operation Botievo Wind Power Plant with a total capacity of 57 MW, the company said in a statement Thursday.
The plant, which is already the largest wind power generating project in Ukraine, is based in the Zaporizhia region, will further increase its capacity to 90 MW later this month, the company said.
The plant will have an overall capacity of 200 MW by the end of 2013, and is estimated to cost Eur350 million, according to the company.
