UkrSpecExport to supply 121 APCs to Thai Army for $140 million

KIEV, Aug. 5 – State-run company UkrSpecExport has signed a contract worth $140 million for the supply of an additional batch of 121 BTR-3E1 armored personnel carriers to the Royal Thai Army, said Dmytro Salamatin, director general of Ukroboronprom Concern.


Government reports 1.3% deflation for July, vs. June’s 0.4% inflation

Ukraine working on Russian financing for Khmelnytsky reactors

KIEV, Aug. 5 – Ukraine's Fuel and Energy Ministry hopes to sign a loan agreement with Russia on financing the construction of Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant's third and fourth reactors by the end of 2010.
