KIEV, Aug. 8 – Ukraine's state oil and gas company Naftogaz and Italy's ENI S.p.A. has signed an agreement on cooperation in exploring the geological properties of Ukraine's mineral resources on land and offshore on the Black Sea shelf, Naftogaz announced on Monday.

"The agreement foresees the possibility of ENI's participation in the exploration, commercial development and the industrial production of hydrocarbons in the explored areas," the announcement says.
