Kiev district court recognizes arbitration ruling on Vanco PSA
KIEV, June 10 – Perchersky District Court in Kiev has satisfied a petition of Vanco Prykerchenska Ltd. asking that it recognize the final decision of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, which on December 28 approved an amicable production sharing agreement on Prykerchensky deposit of the Black Sea shelf between the company and Ukraine. |
Launch of Ukraine’s 1st national telecommunications satellite delayed
MOSCOW, June 8 –Ukraine's first national telecommunications satellite - the Lybid – will not be launched in 2013 due to the fact that it took a year-and-a-half to agree on the orbital position of the satellite, chief designer and director general of OJSC Information Satellite Systems "Reshetnev Company" (ISS) Nikolai Testoedov said in an interview with Interfax-AVN. |
South Africa reported interested in space cooperation with Ukraine
KIEV, June 8 – South Africa plans to develop cooperation with Ukraine in the space sector, the State Space Agency of Ukraine announced.
The agency said that the issue of establishing cooperation was discussed by the sides at a meeting of Deputy Head of State Space Agency of Ukraine Serhiy Zasukha and South African Ambassador to Ukraine Stanley Chupu Matabata. |
