NBU governor sees no risk of foreigners selling Ukrainian bonds

KYIV, June 6 – The likelihood of a risk of synchronous step of nonresidents to sell government domestic loan bonds of Ukraine is absent, as well as the significant influence of this factor on the currency market, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Yakiv Smolii said.

KYIV, June 7 - Ukraine in January-May 2018 imported 2.72 million tons of petroleum products (foreign trade code 2710 – petrol, diesel fuel, fuel oil, jet fuel, etc.), which is 2.8% less than in January-May 2017 (2.799 million tons).

KYIV, June 7 – ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih employees insist on continuation of efforts at conciliation irrespective of rulings of Kyiv's district administrative court in a claim of the enterprise's administration regarding a ban of the National Mediation and Conciliation Service (NMCS) and other authorities to hold talks and make decisions in a collective labor dispute between employees and the employer.

Most Ukrainians refuse to trust banks with their funds, study finds

KYIV, June 8 – Percent of Ukrainians who do not trust banks, according to the results of 2017, is 53%, while in 2015 it was 19%.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey on consumer awareness of the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals conducted by the USAID project "Transformation of the financial sector" commissioned by the Fund for Guaranteeing Individual Deposits.
