Chinese to provide $3.5-4 billion to State Food-Grain Corporation

KIEV, July 10 – China is ready to provide another $3.5-4 billion as a part of cooperation with public joint-stock company State Food-Grain Corporation.

"At present, a delegation from China is working now, which yesterday and a day before yesterday held negotiations in the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry and the State Food-Grain Corporation.


IMF mission extends work in Ukraine's capital until end of week

KIEV, July 10 – A mission from the International Monetary Fund in Ukraine on the first revision of the $17 billion stand-by loan program, headed by Nikolay Gueorguiev, will work in Kiev until the end of the week, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry reported.

Grain harvest expected to weigh in at 45.3 million tons this year

KIEV, July 9 - The grain harvest in Ukraine this year will be 45.3 million tons, according to the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry.

"According to preliminary data from the regions on July 2 the production of grain and leguminous crops in the current year is expected to reach 45.3 million tons," the ministry said on Monday.
