City of Kiev 26th in world office construction, says report
KIEV, May 11 – Kiev city is 26th in the world and 13th in the EMEA region in office construction, reads a press release of the Ukrainian representative office of Colliers International consulting company (Kiev).
According to a survey of key indicators of the office real estate market in the world and the EMEA region as of early 2011, construction of offices, rent rates, vacancy, capitalization rates in main cities of the world were taken into account in the survey. |
Gas production down 2% during first four months of 2011
KIEV, May 11 - Ukraine saw gas production fall by 2% or by 134.4 million cubic meters (bcm) in January-April 2011 year-on-year, to 6.704 billion cubic meters, with natural gas output falling by 1.7% or by 113.9 million cubic meters, to 6.429 bcm, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine. |

NBU may lower discount rate following April 0.3% price decrease

DTEK coal production increased 12.1% in first quarter of 2008
KIEV, May 6 - Donbass Fuel and Energy Company (DTEK) produced 4.413 million tons of coal in Q1, 12.1% more than the same period a year earlier.
Energy coal production totaled 3.613 million tons (up 8.6% year-on-year) and coking coal production rose to 0.800 million tons (up 30.7%). Improved technology and measures to improve operations drove the production gains.
