KIEV, May 11 - Ukraine saw gas production fall by 2% or by 134.4 million cubic meters (bcm) in January-April 2011 year-on-year, to 6.704 billion cubic meters, with natural gas output falling by 1.7% or by 113.9 million cubic meters, to 6.429 bcm, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.
Naftogaz Ukrayiny enterprises over the period decreased gas production by 3.7% or by 232.7 million cubic meters, to 6.054 bcm, including 5.838 bcm of natural gas, which was 3.7% or 225.5 million cubic meters less.
