Accounting Chamber to audit $46.3-mln in bonuses for Naftogaz officials

KYIV, July 10 – Ukraine's Accounting Chamber during the second half of 2018 will audit $46.3 million in bonuses awarded to Naftogaz employees for their contribution to winning a court case with the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom at the Stockholm arbitration court.


Ukraine's sees 18% hike in retail gas prices for households in 2018

KYIV, July 11 – Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade forecasts an increase by 18% in the marginal retail gas prices for households in 2018 (December 2018 over December 2017), which is mentioned in a draft government resolution on the forecast of social and economic development for 2019-2021.

Ukraine’s economic growth to slow to 3% in 2019 from 3.2% in 2018

KYIV, July 11 – The growth of Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019 will slow to 3% from 3.2% in 2018, but then it will accelerate to 3.8% in 2020 and 4.1% in 2021, such a base-case scenario is proposed by Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade for approval by the government.
