Ukrainian beekeepers may run out of honey due to strong COVID-19 demand
KYIV, Aug 9 – The growth in demand for honey in the external and internal markets, caused by coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic may create a situation when beekeepers will run out of these products by the end of 2021, and in warehouses by the end of winter 2022, founder of the Znatny Med brand Valeriy Kureiko said Monday.

Ukraine revokes Firtash’s Selyschansky titanium ore extraction license
KYIV, Aug 10 – The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has deprived Mezhyrichensk Mining and Concentration Complex LLC (Mezhyrichensk Mining), which is part of the titanium business of Dmytro Firtash's Group DF, of the right to a license for geological exploration and development of the Selyschansky block in Zhytomyr region with deposits of titanium ores.

Ukraine’s economy to shrink 6% on year in 2020 amid COVID-19
KYIV, Aug 10 – The drop in Ukraine's GDP in 2020 will amount to 6% instead of 4.2% expected in April this year, such a consensus forecast on the impact of COVID-19 on the economy and the society was announced by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture.
