Ukraine suspending space projects with Russia, says official

KIEV, Oct. 12 – Ukraine will continue to fulfill its liabilities in cooperation with Russia in the space sector under international cooperation, while Ukraine-Russia cooperation at the interstate level has been suspended, head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine (SSAU) Liubomyr Sabadosh said.

Ukraine natural gas production down 0.6% YTD, government reports

KIEV, Oct. 12 - Ukraine saw gas production fall by 0.6% in January-September 2011 year-on-year, to 14.984 billion cubic meters (bcm), with natural gas output falling by 0.5% to 14.362 bcm, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.

Economy ministry proposes 2.7 million ton 2010 grain export quota

KIEV, Oct. 11 – The Economy Ministry has published a draft resolution on quotas on grain exports which foresees that quotas of an overall amount of 2.7 million tons of grain are to be effective until December 31, 2010.
