Ukrainian resident deposits rise 26.4% to UAH 2.39 trillion in 2023

KYIV, Jan 11 – Deposits of Ukrainian residents in 2023 increased by 26.4%, to UAH 2.393 trillion, including of the population by 16.5%, to UAH 1.081 trillion, while of the corporate sector by 41%, to UAH 1.279 trillion, according to information on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

Cost of heat, water will not change this winter, Klitschko says

KYIV Jan 13 – The cost of heating and hot water in the capital will not change this winter, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said Wednesday.

"The issue of tariffs is brought up every heating season. The cost of electricity and gas, which are the main components for heat production and hot water supply, is increasing. And this is the reason for revising tariffs for heat and hot water," the mayor said during an online briefing.


Ukraine’s wheat exports drop 9.8% on year to 16.06-mln mt in 2020

KYIV, Jan 12 – Ukraine’s exports of wheat dropped 9.8% on the year to 16.06 million metric tons in 2020, reflecting impact from the global coronavirus pandemic last year, the State Customs Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday.
