KYIV, Jan 12 – Ukraine’s exports of wheat dropped 9.8% on the year to 16.06 million metric tons in 2020, reflecting impact from the global coronavirus pandemic last year, the State Customs Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday.
The value of wheat exports dropped 1.8% on the year to $3.59 billion in 2020, reflecting higher wheat prices, the service said.
Corn exports dropped 13.6% to 27.95 million metric tons in 2020, while value of corn exports dropped 6.4% on the year to $4.88 billion, the service said.
