DOHA, May 10 - Ukraine, Qatar and Turkey intend in May to hold talks on the possible transit of liquefied gas from Qatar to Ukraine through the Bosporus Strait, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

KIEV, May 11 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national energy company, signed a non-binding deal with Germany's RWE for supplies of natural gas to Ukraine, Naftogaz said in a statement Friday.

"In May 2012, Naftogaz Ukrayiny and RWE signed a framework agreement for the purchase and sale of natural gas," the company said.

The report says that as of May 1, a total of 185 banks operated in Ukraine.
