Saudis likely paying up to 300-mln for Mriya agriculture assets

KYIV, Sept 12 - The cost of the Ukrainian agroholding Mriya, to be purchased by The Saudi Agricultural & Livestock Investment Co. (SALIC), is in the range of $175-300 million, according to investment experts interviewed by Interfax-Ukraine.

Hryvnia deposits in banking system drops by 4.1% in August

KYIV, Sept 13 - The volume of hryvnia deposits in the banking system of Ukraine in August decreased by 4.1%, to UAH 494.49 billion, including deposits of the population - by 1.3%, to UAH 251.74 billion, business - by 6.8%, to UAH 242.75 billion, according to the website of the NBU.


Mriya expects EBITDA at $15-mln in 2018/19, $9-mln down from original target

KYIV, Sept 13 – Mriya farming company, which is pebing purchased by Saudi sovereign fund, in 2018/19 fiscal year expects that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) will be $15 million, which is $9 million less than the preliminary estimate made in February 2018.
