NCRC to announce 2,100 MHz 3G mobile license tender in January

KIEV, Dec. 13 – The National Communications Regulatory Commission plans to announce in January 2011 a tender to issue licenses for the use of the radio frequency bands in the 2,100 MHz range for 3G mobile communications.

KIEV, Dec. 10 - Ukraine reduced ferroalloy production 33.1% year-on-year in January-November to 928,700 tons, the Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers' Association announced.

Government approves $500m state-secured credit for Ukrmedsnab

KIEV, Dec. 11 - The Ukrainian government has approved the attraction of a state-secured credit worth $500 million by Ukrmedsnab, a state company providing medication to medical organizations, from Private Export Funding Corporation (PEFCO, the United States), canceling the previous resolutions of October 14, 2009 and November 11, 2009, which were suspended by the Ukrainian president.


Bank, company foreign borrowing to double next year, says NBU

KIEV, Dec. 13 - The National Bank of Ukraine has forecast that total external borrowing on the part of Ukrainian companies and banks in 2008 will reach $28 billion, doubling the anticipated figure for 2007, the Ukrainian business newspaper Economic News reported, citing a National Bank statement.


Kiev rents, office prices to grow 3-7% next year, says executive

KIEV, Dec. 11 - Rent rates and the price of offices and commercial real estate in Kiev will grow from 3% to 7% in 2008, the head of the commercial real estate department at Kiev-based Trayektoria Ltd., Valentyn Vechersky, said.
