KIEV, June 13 ??“ Ukraine??™s new car sales rocketed 81% on the year in May after Russian automaker AvtoVAZ had cut prices ahead of July 1 when most of its cars will not be allowed for imports.


New car sales down after preference cancellation, duty rise

KIEV, May 14 -- In May sales of new cars in Ukraine fell 8.1% in comparison with May 2004, when about 21,000 cars were sold, or 35% down in comparison with April 2005, Auto Consulting information and analytical group reported.


EU and Ukraine agree to new 2005-2006 steel trading quotas
