AMC official alleges price fixing by international cigarette makers

KIEV, Dec. 15 – Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee official says she Ahiya Zahrebelska sees signs of violation of economic competition protection legislation in actions of four largest tobacco companies with foreign capital in the form of setting the conditions for sale of cigarettes that resulted in removal of competition on the market.


Moody's: Expect Russia debt talks to be 'protracted and contentious'

KIEV, Dec. 15 - Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia on restructuring of Ukraine's $3 billion eurobonds bought by the National Welfare Fund of Russia will be protracted and contentious, Moody's Investors Service said.


Fitch: Ukrzaliznytsia restructuring should be complete by March

KIEV, Dec. 14 - Restructuring of Ukrzaliznytsia's eurobonds will be completed in late February or early March, Fitch Ratings predicted.

Fitch said that it considers the debt restructuring terms agreed by the State Railway Administration of Ukraine's (Ukrzaliznytsia) and a creditor committee would meet its distressed debt exchange criteria.

Don't enter Ukraine with less than $558, new government rule says

KIEV, Dec. 13 – Foreigners entering Ukraine need to bring at least $558.50 with them when entering the country, according to a recently passed government regulation.
