Naftogaz Ukrainy executive director Yuriy Vitrenko on Thursday was optimistic over a legal battle with Gazprom in a court of Amsterdam seeking to force the Russian company pay $3 billion debt. Naftogaz won $2.6 billion award from Stockholm court in February 2018, but Gazprom has refused to pay the award. Now, jointly with late payment fees, Naftogaz seeks to force Gazprom to pay $3 billion by seizing its assets in Amsterdam.
