Ukraine lags behind schedule in spring grain panting: UAC report Journal Staff Report
The spring sowing campaign in Ukraine in 2019 is behind schedule over bad weather conditions, the press service of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) reported. "Farmers in several regions of western, central and northern Ukraine complain of heavy rainfall and the inability to sow [spring crops] on time. There were heavy rains, thunderstorms, and sometimes hail in those regions. Some farms were unable to sow sunflower and maize crops," it said.
