Ukraine’s total direct and guaranteed state debt in January increased by $230 million or UAH 1.26 billion, or 0.34%, to $71.21 billion or UAH 1.931 trillion, according to the Finance Ministry. According to the report, state debt as of late January 2017 totaled UAH 1.652 trillion or $60.91 billion, including UAH 981.05 billion or $36.18 billion of foreign debt. Guaranteed debt was UAH 279.33 billion or $10.33 billion, including UAH 260.28 billion or $9.6 billion of foreign guaranteed debt.
