Coal stocks at warehouses of thermal power plants (TPPs) of Ukrainian generating companies increased by 14.7% (by 87,300 tons) in the period from January 10 to January 17, 2022, to 681,500 tons, according to the Ministry of Energy. According to the calculations of Interfax-Ukraine, coal stocks as of January 17, 2022 are 39.8% more than a year earlier (487,500 tons). Existing stocks are also almost 1.6 times more compared to December 31, 2021 (435,700 tons).
