State banks increasingly buy government’s T-bills Journal Staff Report
State banks in the second quarter of 2020 increased their portfolios of government domestic loan bonds by 18.4% - to UAH 348.88 billion, according to statistics from the Ministry of Finance released on Tuesday. According to it, in April-July 2020, PrivatBank, in particular, increased its government domestic loan bonds portfolio by 11.6% - to UAH 166.47 billion, Oschadbank - by 25.8%, to UAH 94.07 billion, Ukreximbank - by 18, 6%, to UAH 45.45 billion, and Ukrgasbank - by 32.3%, to UAH 42.89 billion.
