USDA: Ukraine to produce 21-mln mt of wheat, 32.97-mln mt of feed grains

KYIV, May 13 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), in its May report, has released for the first time a forecast of grain harvest in Ukraine for 2024: 21 million tons of wheat and 32.97 million tons of feed grains, including 27 million tons of corn.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih re-launches blast furnace No. 6 in January

KYIV, May 13 – Kryvy Rih Mining and Metallurgical Plant PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) in January 2024 launched blast furnace No. 6 after a major overhaul and increased steel production by 90% year-over-year, to 163,000 tons, rolled products by 95%, to 152,000 tons.

Ukrenergo worried about slow power imports at time of shortages
