IMF team, Ukraine reach staff-level agreement on $ 1.1-bln EFF tranche

Ukraine, IMF discuss $142-bln Extended Fund Facility loan, Shmyhal says

KYIV, Sept 10 – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, stressing the critical importance of external funding for non-military budget expenditures, pointed to an agreed total support amount of $142 billion under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement with the IMF. This amount corresponds to the negative scenario of the program in case the war drags on, whereas the IMF had previously referred to a base scenario of $122 billion in total support.

Ukraine may go for smaller tax rate hike if G7 delivers on $50-bln promise
