Ukraine mulls gas imports from Slovakia for energy security

KYIV, Oct 18 An increase in capacities for guaranteed physical transportation of gas from Slovakia to Ukraine will enhance the energy security of the country and the region as a whole, Olha Bielkova, Director on Government and International Affairs of the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU), said.

J.P. Morgan says IMF may disburse $1.4-bln tranche to Ukraine in December

KYIV, Oct 13 - Ukraine may receive a tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the amount of about $1.4 billion in October-December 2021, J.P. Morgan said in the October EMEA EM Emerging Markets research.

We believe that the IMF will pay a tranche of $1.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021, but is considering a possible range of this amount from $1 billion to $1.5 billion, J.P. Morgan said.
