Ukraine prepares to sell major state assets at privatization auction

KYIV, July 23 – The State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine publicly presented the Large-Scale Privatization 2024 project on Tuesday and named its top five facilities: the four-star Hotel Ukraine located downtown Kyiv and Kyiv's Ocean Plaza shopping mall, the country's largest titanium ore producer United Mining and Chemical Company (UMCC), the Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant for titanium and zirconium extraction, and the aerated concrete producer Aeroc.

Russian forces stage assaults on Pokrovsk

Ukraine, bondholder agree on terms of $20-bln foreign debt restructuring

KYIV, July 22 – The agreement in principle between Ukraine and the committee of holders of its bonds, totaling around $20 billion, include the replacement of 40% of their total amount and accrued interest with four issues of eurobonds (A Bonds) maturing in 2029-2036 and 23% – with four issues of contingent bonds (B Bonds) maturing in 2030-2036, part of which will be issued only upon achieving the necessary GDP level in 2028.

EBRD approves $217.5-mln to finance Datagroup-Volia–Lifecell merger

KYIV, July 22 - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved the allocation of $217.5 million - half of the $435 million allocated jointly with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to finance the merged company Datagroup-Volia - Lifecell after the completion of the deal of French-based NJJ's purchasing the Ukrainian assets of Turkcell.
