KIEV, Feb. 17 – Parliamentary Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn on Wednesday gave the government coalition led by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko 10 days to produce evidence that the coalition controls a majority in Parliament.
The failure to submit the evidence may trigger the dismissal of Tymoshenko and the creation of a new governing coalition, Lytvyn said.
“I request the coalition submit all papers that confirm its activity,” Lytvyn said. “There is a 10-day term.”
