KIEV, Feb. 17 – Ukraine's real GDP fell by 15% in 2009, according to the Economy Ministry.
"In 2009 GDP fall is around 15%, according to the assessments of the Economy Ministry [based on quarterly data from the State Statistics Committee]," Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn said.
According to the report, the seasonally adjusted GDP in Q4, 2009 grew by 1.9% on Q3, 2009, while in Q3, 2009 the indicator was a zero, that for Q2, 2009 it was 2.5% and for Q1, 2009 it was minus 11.4%.
