KIEV, Feb. 16 – Ukraine's president-elect Viktor Yanukovych will take an oath of loyalty to the Ukrainian people at an extraordinary ceremonial meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on February 25.

A total of 238 MPs passed a resolution to that effect on Tuesday.

In particular, lawmakers amended the schedule of the sixth session of the Ukrainian parliament of the sixth convocation. It was earlier planned that the Rada would not work in a plenary mode on February 16-19.
