TBILISI, Jan. 21 – Ukraine’s Privat Group has bought a state-owned 87% stake in the statutory fund of Georgia’s Gudauri ski resort, the Georgian Economic Development Ministry told Interfax.
The deal was estimated to be worth $14.5 million. The ministry said that the investor has sent $10 million to the budget.
The ministry representative said that the Ukrainian Group entered Gudauri's management 1.5 months ago, which was explained by desire of the investor to study the state of the resort on the spot and make a final decision.
