KIEV, Jan. 19 – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday instructed Mikhail Zurabov, the Russian ambassador to Ukraine, to restart a diplomatic mission in Kiev, six months after the Kremlin had suspended the mission.

The move comes after Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko failed to secure reelection for the next five years in office at the Sunday election.
