KIEV, Nov. 9 – Deputy Prime Minister Hryhoriy Nemyria on Monday admitted that Ukraine will face problems in paying for Russian natural gas imports in January if the International Monetary Fund delays its lending.
“If the lending program is delayed through January, then it will be very hard to make the payment,” Nemyria said in an interview with Channel 5. “We don’t want the repeat of the situation that problems emerge with the supplies to Ukraine and transit to Europe.”
