KIEV, Nov. 5 - The government of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and her political backers are responsible for the epidemic of flu and acute respiratory illnesses in Ukraine, according to Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn.

"You've organized the flu epidemic in order to avoid responsibility for not supplying heat to houses, schools, higher educational establishments, and kindergartens," he said in Parliament, while commenting on a war of words between the MPs of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT) and the Communist Party.
