KIEV, Oct. 26 - Ukraine resumed rolled steel exports to China earlier this year after such shipments had virtually stopped late last year due to the collapse in demand, the Industrial Policy Ministry reported Monday.

Ukraine, the world’s No. 8 producer of steel, shipped 1.7 million metric tons of rolled steel to China in January through August, the ministry reported. This accounts to 10% of Ukraine’s overall steel exports in the period.
