KIEV, Oct. 8 - Ukraine will reduce imports of Russian natural gas next year compared with original expectations due to falling demand in the economy, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Thursday.
Tymoshenko reacted to comments from Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller that the Russian company will enforce agreement obliging Ukraine to import 52 billion cubic meters of gas in 2010, or almost twice as much as the country needs.
