KIEV, Sept. 17 - President Viktor Yushchenko's secretariat has forecast that Ukraine's real GDP will shrink by 12.9% and nominal GDP by 8.6% in 2009.
This year's nominal GDP in Ukraine will amount to UAH956.4 billion, according to Oleksandr Shlapak, first deputy head of the presidential secretariat.
The secretariat also expects 16.5% inflation and a $2.2 billion deficit in foreign trade in Ukraine.
