KIEV, Sept. 14 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny announced Monday it had started talks with creditors seeking to restructure its international debts, including a $500 million eurobond that falls due on Sept. 30.

“Naftogaz is aware that the time of the eurobond payment is approaching,” the Ukrainian company said in a statement. “The company directs all its efforts to submit clear and constructive offer to bond holders in the near future.”
