KIEV, Sept. 8 – Ukrtransnafta, the operator of Ukraine's oil transport system, has switched the Prydniprovski oil pipeline to reverse mode and transported the first shipments of oil from Odessa oil terminal to Kremenchuk oil refinery (Ukrtatnafta) UPECO's NefteRynok weekly reported.
"The reverse (two-way) operation of Prydniprovski oil pipeline will make it possible to simultaneously meet all the commitments to current clients transiting [oil] from Russia and Kazakhstan. At the same time, Ukrtransnafta will set aside certain days, due to a more compact schedule of pumping their oil to Odessa port, on which it will ship oil from Odessa to Kremenchuk," reads the weekly.
