KIEV, Sept. 7 - Ukraine will suspend extra purchases of natural gas after the government has determined there is enough gas in underground storage facilities to meet demand in the winter, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Monday.
“We came to a conclusion that we have 25.5 billion cubic meters of gas in the storage facilities so we can stop purchases of [extra] gas,” Tymoshenko said at a press conference.
