KIEV, July 19 – The government agreed to hike by 20% prices of natural gas for households starting from September 1, Viktor Yanukovych, the leader of the opposition Regions Party, said Friday.

Yanukovych said the hike is part of a secret deal with the International Monetary Fund in exchange for $3.3 billion loan to be disbursed, and was classified to prevent social unrest.
