KIEV, July 7 - Ukraine’s consumer inflation, already the highest in Europe, rose faster-than-expected in June amid rocketing utility and transportation costs, figures released by the government on Tuesday indicate.
Ukraine’s consumer prices, annually adjusted, rose to 15% from 14.7% in May, according to the report by the State Statistics Committee. In June, the prices rose 1.1% on the month, compared with 0.5% in May, the report said.
