KIEV, June 18 – Yuriy Boyko, the former fuel and energy minister of Ukraine and MP from the Regions Party, said that the present government's policies on the country's fuel market are inappropriate and unprofessional.
"The government of [Premier] Yulia Tymoshenko, as usual, lacks the professionalism to defend state interests on the oil products market. The government simply takes its lead from the oil traders who are the members of the expert and analytical group for the functioning of the oil market at the Fuel and Energy Ministry, and is not able to conduct a professional discussion with them," Boyko told journalists on Wednesday.
